Group Travel Tip-Appoint a Leader
by Gary Goerk on 12/11/16
When planning a group vacation, especially a cruise or resort vacation, it is important to appoint a leader who will do much of the planning, determine how to book the vacation, organize it, communicate with the group regarding pricing and other details, and plan for group activities and private time for members. The group leader could also qualify for a free cruise cabin or resort room in some cases if a required number of units is booked. Group leaders can benefit greatly by working with a travel agent who will make recommendations regarding destinations, amenities, activities and excursions, as well as assisting with communications throughout the process.
